Brasília – Petrobras CEO Aldemir Bendine displayed optimism about the prospects of overcoming the crisis, with help from measures designed to streamline governance and restore the state-owned oil company’s image. Bendine opened his address at the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry (CPI) targeting Petrobras by stressing that the company is collaborating with the ongoing investigations into the corruption scheme.<\/p>\n
“We have been searching for a management model to mitigate issues experienced in the past”, said Bendine. He also said that, despite the reports of corruption and oil barrel price decline, Petrobras achieved a performance “compatible with the size of the country”, besides making investments that will help it get out of the crisis.<\/p>\n
