It will include 19 photos, by the photographer Chico Max, taken at Miss&atilde;o Paz, an immigrant welcome center in the Glic&eacute;rio neighborhood, in partnership with the priest Paolo Parise, who works there. <\/p>\n<p>The event will also comprise other related activities, such as a film screening, a lecture and a chat with specialists. The movie &ldquo;Fievel &ndash; An American Tale&rdquo; is a US-made comedy by Don Bluth about a Jewish mouse who lives in Russia and dreams of relocating to the States. <\/p>\n<p>The photo exhibit will be open on Saturday and Sunday and the film will show on Saturday at 2pm. Sunday at 2pm will see the lecture &ldquo;We&rsquo;re all immigrants,&rdquo; by Cl&oacute;vis de Barros Filho, a PhD and associate professor at the School of Communication and Arts of the University of S&atilde;o Paulo (USP).<\/p>\n<p>Following the screening, Chico Max, priest Paolo Parise and some of the immigrants photographed for the exhibit will speak with the public. Parise runs a social project called Miss&atilde;o de Paz (Peace Mission) at Par&oacute;quia Nossa Senhora da Paz (Parish of Our Lady of Peace), which welcomes immigrants and refugees. Max is a photographer, graphic designer and psychologist. Typical foods will be on sale from stands at the event. <\/p>\n<p>The event is a partnership between the S&atilde;o Paulo State Secretariat for Culture, the Special Advisory for International Affairs of the Government of S&atilde;o Paulo, the photographer Chico Max, and Miss&atilde;o Paz.
