GDP growth was revised from 1.8% to 1.9% for 2012 and from 2.7% to 3% for 2013.<\/p>\n<p>The revision is due to a new methodology adopted by the IBGE, incorporating new data from the agricultural census and the budgets of Brazilian families. <\/p>\n<p>As per the new data, the Brazilian GDP reached BRL 4.8 trillion in 2012 and BRL 5.3 trillion in 2013.
