This calculation is considered a &ldquo;preliminary estimate&rdquo; of the Brazilian Gross Domestic Product (GDP).<\/p>\n<p>According to data from the Brazilian Central Bank, the IBC-Br declined 0.5% in September over August and 5.85% over the same month of last year. Still according to the BC, the IBC-Br declined 3.37% year-to-date up to September and 2.73% year-to-year.
