According to data from the Monthly Employment Survey released this Thursday (19th) by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), there was an increase of 0.3% over the 7.6% of unemployed in September and of 3.2% over the total number of people without work in the same month of last year.<\/p>\n<p>According to data from the IBGE released by <em>Ag&ecirc;ncia Brasil<\/em>, this is the highest unemployment for a month of October since 2007. The number of unemployed people reached 1.9 million in October.
