The event will take place in the beach city of Sharm El Sheikh and will be attended by heads of state, ministers and presidents of African companies that will discuss ways of promoting investment, especially coming from the private sector.<\/p>\n<p>According to information provided by the event&rsquo;s organization, already confirmed is the attendance of the presidents of Gabon, Ali Bongo; Ghana, John Dramani Mahama; Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta; Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari; Rwanda, Paul Kagame; Senegal, Macky Sall; and South Africa, Jacob Zuma. Egypt&rsquo;s president, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi will open the forum.<\/p>\n<p>In one of the meetings scheduled, representatives of investment promotion agencies of each country will present opportunities in their nations to their colleagues. The organizers want to discuss ways of inserting Africa in the global supply chain to create jobs. Another topic that will be emphasized in one of the meetings is the incentive to consumption via the creation of strong and genuinely African brands. <\/p>\n<p>The continent has a Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of USD 2 trillion and a middle class with 313 million people that should consume up to USD 1.4 trillion until 2020, according to information from the Forum&rsquo;s organization.
