In the period, the country posted a trade deficit of USD 156 million. Year-to-date until the third week of January, however, there&rsquo;s a surplus of USD 315 million. <\/p>\n<p>In the third week of January, exports totaled USD 488.5 million on average per business day, 19.5% less than the results up to the second week of the month. Exports of basic goods and semi-finished products declined, while exports of finished products increased in comparison to the second week of the month.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, imports totaled USD 519.7 million per business day, a drop of 7.1% in comparison to the second week of the month.
