Held by the &ldquo;Business Women of Egypt&rdquo; association, the event will continue until next Monday (22).<\/p>\n<p>The conference began this morning at the League of Arab States headquarters in Cairo, under the theme &lsquo;Women Leaders for Economic Prosperity.&rsquo; From Saturday on, the remainder of the event will take place in the city of Hurghada.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the conference, businesswomen from several countries will discuss the following topics: ecosystem for small and medium enterprises and best practices; women in board and leadership positions from glass ceiling to work-life balance; 3- brand your leadership&rsquo;s style and strength; women leaders in digital age\/womenomics; and turning your passion into profit.<\/p>\n<p>The 2015 edition brought together over 150 women from 16 countries, including Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Tunisia, Cyprus, France, Germany, Greece, Netherlands, Kenya, South Africa, United Kingdom, United States and Sweden. <\/p>\n<p>Egyptian organizations supporting the event include the ministries of Investment, Social Solidarity, Civil Aviation and Legal and Parliamentary Affairs, as well as a host of local and international institutions interested in providing economic support to women. <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Business Women of Egypt&rdquo; is an independent, self-funded non-government organization comprising hundreds of Egyptian businesses and executives.
