According to the survey, the unemployment rate increased 0.6 percentage point over January and 2.4 percentage points over February of last year.<\/p>\n<p>The survey was done in metro regions of S&atilde;o Paulo, S&atilde;o Paulo; Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro; Salvador, Bahia; Recife, Pernambuco; Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais; and Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul.
