They will attend the fair through a sector project called Brasil Auto Parts, organized by the National Auto Parts Industry Union&nbsp;(Sindipe&ccedil;as) and by the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil), whose goal is to promote abroad auto parts manufactured in Brazil. This is the tenth time that Sindipe&ccedil;as attends the fair, which will run from May 8 to 10. <\/p>\n<p>Elias Mufarej, Sindipe&ccedil;as&rsquo; advisor, told ANBA this Wednesday (4) that the fair is a &ldquo;gateway&rdquo; for markets in the Middle East, Asia and North Africa. &ldquo;This fair provides great exposure. Almost all of the large players in the sector take part. The majority of the products showcased are for large vehicles, such as trucks. There are a lot of vehicles there that were bought from Brazil and the products showcased by the Brazilian companies are compatible with them. The demand matches the supply that is offered&rdquo;, said Mufarej.<\/p>\n<p>The advisor for Sindipe&ccedil;as also said that to export and increase the number of international clients is a way to compensate the losses in revenues caused by the fragility of the Brazilian economy. According to data presented by Sindipe&ccedil;as, the sector&rsquo;s nominal revenues were BRL 63.2 billion (USD 17.84 billion) last year, a decline of 17.7% over the BRL 76.8 billion (USD 21.68 billion of 2015. Sindipe&ccedil;as expects revenues from exports to increase in the next few years.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The majority of the companies set to attend Automechanika has been in past editions of the event, but we noticed an increase in exhibitor interest&nbsp;in this edition. It could be that next year we will ask the fair&rsquo;s organization for more space for Brazil&rsquo;s pavilion.
