It was the third straight monthly increase, after it had climbed 1.1% in March and 0.2% in February. <\/p>\n<p>Ibre\/FGV economist Paulo Picchetti said the result reflects an improvement of expectations. &ldquo;In April, the Iace remained on the upward trend seen in the two preceding months, reflecting an improvement in most of its expectations components,&rdquo; he said in a press release.
