In comparison with the same month of 2015, sales went down 2.13%. The data is inflation-adjusted. From January to May, sales declined 0.23% in comparison with the same period in the previous year. <\/p>\n<p>In nominal values, the sector&rsquo;s sales decreased 1.39% in May over the previous month, and went up 7% over May of 2015. Year-to-date, sales increased 9.57%.<\/p>\n<p>Sussumu Honda, president of Abras&rsquo; advisory board, said that the results were expected.
