The data was published this Tuesday (16) by news agency <em>Tunis Afrique Presse (TAP)<\/em>. <\/p>\n<p>The ministry reported that shipments were driven by the performance of the machinery and electrical industries, which reported sales of TND 7.5 billion (USD 3.42 billion) from January to July, an increase of 12% over the same period of last year.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, exports by the textile and apparel and leather and footwear sectors increased, respectively, 5.9% and 6.7%. Foreign sales by the chemical industry went up 13%.
