Rapesta was already approved, unanimously, by the Foreign Affairs and National Defense commission earlier in the month.<\/p>\n<p>Before Bahrain, he served as Brazil&rsquo;s ambassador in Helsinki, Finland, and in Luanda, Angola. Rapesta also worked in Brazilian diplomatic representations in the former European Economic Community in Rome, Italy, and in Cayenne, French Guiana.
