The Arab Gulf country is the 93rd WTO member to ratify the deal. <\/p>\n<p>The agreement will enter into force once two thirds of all WTO member countries have endorsed it. With Bahrain included, 85% of the required number of members has been reached, according to the organization. <\/p>\n<p>The ratification was handed in this Friday to WTO director-general Roberto Azev&ecirc;do by Bahrain&rsquo;s WTO ambassador Yusuf Abdulkarim Mohammed Bucheeri.<\/p>\n<p>Talks for the TFA concluded in 2013 during a WTO ministerial meeting in Bali, Indonesia. Its provisions are designed to cut red tape and costs and to allow speedier international trade procedures. The WTO estimates that it could add USD 1 trillion to global trade in goods. <\/p>\n<p>According to the WTO, developing countries should see benefits. The organization expects more than half the gains to accrue to those nations.
