The information was made public by the WTO itself. <\/p>\n<p>The Brazilian government claims that the USA&rsquo;s measures are inconsistent with a number of procedural and substantive provisions of the Agreement on Subsidies and Countervailing Measures of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT).<\/p>\n<p>Brazil&rsquo;s request for consultations formally initiates a dispute in the WTO, it said. Now, the parties can discuss the matter and try to find a satisfactory solution.
