The Brazil Commodities Index (IC-Br), measured monthly by the Brazilian Central Bank (BC), increased 0.44% in comparison to November 2016. In the year, however, it dropped 5.31%, driven down by agricultural commodities (-11.64%). <\/p>\n<p>Last month, the agricultural sector (beef, cotton, soy oil, wheat, sugar, maize, coffee, rice and pork) fell 1.24%. The energy sector (oil, natural gas and coal) went up 9.95% in the month and 6.48% in the year.
