The event is an initiative of state attorney Cyro Saadeh with the support of the Institute for Arab Culture (Icarabe) and partner organizations. <\/p>\n<p>In the film, a Palestinian poet and an Italian journalist meet a group of Syrians and Palestinians in Milan. The group, escaping the war in Syria, had entered Europe via the Italian island of Lampedusa. The poet and journalist then decide to help the refugees to complete their journey to Sweden.<\/p>\n<p>To avoid being arrested, they fake a wedding. With a Palestinian friend dressed as the bride and the others as wedding guests, they cross Europe in a four-day journey of 3,000 km. <\/p>\n<p>The movie was based on a true story that took place between Milan and Stockholm in 2013.
