The data is open to the general public and can be searched without the need for a registration at www.mdic.gov.br\/comercio-exterior\/estatisticas-de-comercio-exterior\/comex-vis\/frame-municipio. <\/p>\n<p>In addition to trade numbers of Brazilian cities, the new module makes available also the main products traded by cities and their main trade partners. <\/p>\n<p>A quick search on the module, for instance, shows that the city of S&atilde;o Paulo exported the amount of USD 8.09 billion in 2016 and imported USD 9.03 billion in goods last year.<\/p>\n<p>China was the main destination for S&atilde;o Paulo&rsquo;s exports last year, accounting for 15% of all shipments, followed by the United States with 12% of the total.<\/p>\n<p>The Arab countries also show up among the destinations for goods coming from S&atilde;o Paulo.
