This is the second edition ever to happen in a non-european country, and the second in the Arab country. The information is from the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry.<\/p>\n<p>This year&rsquo;s theme is &ldquo;Reimagining the consumer experience.&rdquo; Organizers are expecting 1,500 participantes attendees, who will engage in discussion with 150 industry specialists over subjects including transformation and innovation, the importance of and what really motivates consumers. <\/p>\n<p>Speakers will include delegates from the likes Coca-Cola, BMW, Bacardi, Debenhams, Google, Walmart, Macy&rsquo;s, Adidas, Inditex, Elisabeth Arden and even FC Barcelona, the soccer team.<\/p>\n<p>According to DCCI, retail sales in the UAE are expected to reach USD 54.45 billion this year, fueled by the launch of e-trade site Noon.com, which saw USD 1 billion in investment. An additional 85,000 sqm of retail space are also expected to go online this year in the country. <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;is with great pleasure that we return to Dubai for the 11th edition of the World Retail Congress, building on the success of last year&rsquo;s event.
