The Doha, Qatar-Auckland, New Zealand flight is operated by a Boeing 777-200LR. It spans 14,500 km and lasts 16 hours and 23 minutes. <\/p>\n<p>The flight back from Auckland to Doha is expected to take even longer, at 17 hours and 30 minutes, Qatar Airways said. So far, the longest-lasting commercial flight available was the Dubai-Auckland route by Emirates Airline, at 14,200 km.
