The numbers were released this Wednesday (15) by the National Agency for Waterway Transportation (Antaq), whose director-general Adalberto Tokarski said the minor drop was driven by the maize crop failure. <\/p>\n<p>In 2016, 21.4 million tons of maize were shipped out from ports in Brazil, down 37.5% from 2015 volumes.
