The UNHCR is asking for online donations. Proceeds will be used in assisting with prenatal and post-partum procedures, access to food and basic healthcare for mothers and infants. To donate go to https:\/\/doar.acnur.org\/acnur\/maes.html.<\/p>\n<p>The latest UNHCR report on the subject shows that women 49% of refugees are women. The organization adds that women and children under refugee status are extremely vulnerable.
