These products accounted for over half of the industry&rsquo;s total foreign sales in both volume and revenue. Exports amounted to 10.4 million tons, fetching USD 4.5 billion in April. Shipped volume was up 3.4%.<\/p>\n<p>Sugar was another export highlight at USD 723.8 million shipped, up 48.8% from a year ago, and shipped volume reached 1.62 million tons, up 6.2%. Meat export revenue dropped by 9.8% to USD 1.08 billion.
