The amount is equivalent to 27.6% of total revenue from Brazilian exports, which was USD 114.9 billion, the Brazilian Ministry of Industry, Foreign Trade and Services reported. The numbers were compiled by the S&atilde;o Paulo state port authority Codesp.<\/p>\n<p>Foreign sales via the Port of Santos amounted to USD 18.4 billion year-to-date through April, or 27% of total sales. Imports arriving at the facility came out to USD 13.4 billion, or 28.6% of the nationwide total.
