This is the second consecutive positive rate registered by Brazilian industry, with April posting a 1.1% increase. The data was made available this Tuesday (4) by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) and was part of the Monthly Survey of Industry &ndash; Physical Production Brazil (PIM-PF).<\/p>\n<p>When May&rsquo;s data is compared to the same month of last year, however, the Brazilian industry registered in May an increase of 4%, the highest cumulative growth for the industry since February 2014.<\/p>\n<p>The cumulative growth rate in the first five months of the year stood at 0.5%.
