Registrations are open until August 6. <\/p>\n<p>The volunteers will do office work focusing on helping refugees in Bras&iacute;lia. According to information made available by the Ministry of Justice and Public Safety, the work includes transcripting audio&nbsp;interviews with asylum-seekers, investigating and diagnosing of geopolitical matters of the refugees&rsquo; home countries. <\/p>\n<p>Applicants are required to have advanced skills in English, French or Spanish and to either be undergraduate students or hold a degree. There&rsquo;s a preference for people in the fields of Law, International Affairs, Social or Political Sciences, Social Services and other related fields.<\/p>\n<p>CONARE also requires volunteers to be pro-active, organized and capable of helping people in vulnerable situations. Volunteers will receive a certificate of the activities performed if they complete the minimum period established without interruptions. <\/p>\n<p>The activities start on August 14 and run for three months, with the possibility of an extension. At least 12 hours per week available are required.
