The event is being organized in partnership with the Federation of Industries of the State of Goi&aacute;s (FIEG) and is open to registrations. <\/p>\n<p>Alaby will present the Arab world to the attendees, showing statistical data and potential business opportunities. &ldquo;I will also offer tips about negotiations with entrepreneurs from those countries. What to do and not to do when negotiating with Arabs,&rdquo; he says. <\/p>\n<p>From January to July, shipments from Goi&aacute;s to the Arab countries totaled USD 234.7 million, according to the Ministry of Industry, Foreign Trade and Services (MDIC). The main products exported by Goi&aacute;s to the Arabs are meats, sugar and cereal. Thus, the CEO of the Arab Chamber expects the majority of the executives attending the lecture to be from the agribusiness sector. <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The focus will be the agroindustry, but the state also has many pharmaceuticals labs,&rdquo; says Alaby. <\/p>\n<p>Data compiled by the Arab Chamber shows that Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates were the main Arab destinations to the products from the state of Goi&aacute;s exported last year. On the other hand, Morocco, Saudi Arabia and Qatar are the main suppliers &ndash; organic and chemical fertilizers are, by far, the most imported products by Goi&aacute;s. <\/p>\n<p>In April, Caracal International, a manufacturer of armaments and ammunitions from the UAE, laid the building block of its plant in An&aacute;polis, city in the central part of the state. The initial investment reached BRL 100 million (USD 31.88 million), generating 600 direct jobs. <\/p>\n<p>Registrations to the lecture can be done directly with FIEG.
