The recital will be a mix of Spanish and Moroccan music, linked by common origins.<\/p>\n<p><!--[{![cemb_9_714854_2]!}]--><\/p>\n<p>Driss El Maloumi is considered to be of his generation&rsquo;s best lute players. Born in Agadir, he studied Arab and Western classical music and won many awards throughout his career, among them one from the Rabat Conservatoire National de Musique. <\/p>\n<p>The Moroccan has performed throughout the world with famous composer, bass viola player and conductor Jordi Savall, an expert in ancient music. Hel also played with Italian trumpet player Paolo Fresu, the Indian musician Debashish Bhattacharya and Catalan musician Montserrat Figueiras. <\/p>\n<p>The Spanish quartet is comprised of Carmen Cuello, Manuel Paz, Jes&uacute;s Prieto and Carlos Cuanca. The group was born out of the friendship of the four guitar players and now performs in festivals across the world.
