{"id":58068,"date":"2017-08-25T20:00:00","date_gmt":"2017-08-25T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/escaesco.com.br\/lab\/anba\/saudi-arabia-launches-budget-airline\/"},"modified":"2019-06-30T18:26:05","modified_gmt":"2019-06-30T21:26:05","slug":"saudi-arabia-launches-budget-airline","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/en\/saudi-arabia-launches-budget-airline\/","title":{"rendered":"Saudi Arabia launches budget airline"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--[{![cemb_9_714944_2]!}]--><\/p>\n<p>Jeddah &ndash; The Saudi state-owned carrier Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) has launched Flyadeal, a budget subsidiary, at an event in the King Abdulaziz International Airport, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, <em>Emirates News Agency (WAM)<\/em> reported this Friday (25).<\/p>\n<p>Saudia director-general and Flyadeal chairman Saleh Bin Nasser Al-Jasser said the new airline will have its maiden flight on September 23, the Saudi national date, <em>WAM <\/em>quoted the <em>Saudi Press Agency (SPA)<\/em> as reporting.<\/p>\n<p>The launch is part of Saudia&rsquo;s SV2020 Transformation Strategy, designed to make its subsidiaries into world-class companies by 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Flyadeal will cater to demographics including domestic passengers, pilgrims flying to Mecca, and the growing numbers of tourists visiting the country, <em>WAM <\/em>said. <\/p>\n<p>At first, flights will connect some of the main Saudi cities, like the capital Riyadh and Dammam, in the Gulf.
