Compared with the three months through July 2016, GDP was up 1.1%. The data are from the GDP Monitor released this Monday (18) by think tank Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Getulio Vargas (FGV).<\/p>\n<p>In July alone, GDP climbed 0.1% from June and 1.3% from July 2016.<\/p>\n<p>The 1.1% hike year-on-year in the three months through July was driven by agriculture (11.7%), mineral extraction (4.5%), the process industry (1.6%), trade (3%), transportation (2.4%) and other services (1.5%).
