The world exhibition will be held three years from now in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.<\/p>\n<p><!--[{![cemb_9_715641_2]!}]--><\/p>\n<p>According to the survey, these projects includes infrastructure works, transportation and mixed-use residential, commercial, hospitality and leisure real estate developments. The expectation is for most of these projects to be concluded for the Expo 2020.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Both the public and private sectors have mobilized their best resources to complete these projects on time,&rdquo; said the CEO of BNC Network, Avin Gidwani, according to a company&rsquo;s statement. <\/p>\n<p>Most of the developments are concentrated in Dubai South, a 145 square meters area around the Al Maktoum International Airport. In all, 2,000 civil ventures, such as buildings, storages and exhibition pavilions, among other structures, are in the plans.<\/p>\n<p>Al Maktoum is the emirate&rsquo;s second international airport and stands near Jebel Ali, next to the future area of the exhibition and near the Abu Dhabi border. Dubai plans to turn this airport in a large cargo and passenger hub, with five runways and a capacity for 220 million passengers and 16 million tons of cargo per year.<\/p>\n<p>Dubai South will be divided in districts: the Logistics District, with a connection between the airport, the Jebel Ali Free Trade Zone and the namesake port; the Residential District, with a capacity to house 250,000 people when completed; the Commercial District, with commercial developments and hotels; the Exhibitions District; the Aviation District, for the aerospace industry; the Business Park Free Trade Zone; and the Humanitarian District, planned to host installations and events of humanitarian aid organizations.<\/p>\n<p>According to the BNC Network, when these projects are concluded, the expectation is for them to generated 500,000 jobs. <\/p>\n<p><strong>*Translated by S&eacute;rgio Kakitani<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"credits-overlay\" data-target=\".wp-image-191721\">Press Release<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dubai will host the world exhibition in three years\u2019 time.
