Wheat exports from Brazil to Arab nations jump four-fold

This Thursday (2) in your ANBA Bulletin: Wheat exports from Brazil to the Arab nations have surged. Almost half of these agricultural exports from Brazil year to date through April went to Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Sudan, and Egypt. The region stepped up its purchases by 326%.

Overall exports from Brazil to the Arab market went up year to date through April. Sales grew by 29%, driven by high-priced commodities.

The UNESCO-Sharjah Prize for Arab Culture was given to Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) Cultural director Silvia Antibas. The award was announced back in 2019, but she received it last week in Paris.

And two Brazilian companies, Thermoceram and Ziggy, participated in a hoohah trade show in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Egypt: Archaeologists unearthed 250 sarcophagi, 150 statues

‌ Ancient mummies and statues found in Egypt

An archaeological mission at the Bubastian cemetery in the Saqqara Necropolis uncovered a collection of 250 painted wooden sarcophagi and 150 bronze statues of Egyptian deities of different sizes, among other artifacts. Saqqara is located in the province of Giza, south of Cairo, Egypt. The discovery was made public on Monday (30) by Egypt’s Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, which said the sarcophagi and statues dated back to circa 500 BC.

Brazilian hookah brand to sell to Dubai

The show focused on the hookah sector World Shisha Dubai, which took place this month in the United Arab Emirates, rendered great contacts and deals for Brazilian brands. Rising raw material prices hit industries in Brazil

Brazilian delegation discussed cooperation in Qatar
