Brazilian imports of Arab products declined. Brazilian footwear company Piccadilly is expanding its operations in the Arab world by opening two stores in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Brazil will participate in Malaysia’s MIHAS, the world’s largest halal trade show. Companies can showcase their products in September’s exhibition through the Halal do Brasil project.

São Paulo – Exports from Brazil to Arab countries climbed 28.7% in the first quarter compared to the same period last year, according to federal government data compiled by the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC).
