This Friday (23) in your ANBA Bulletin: an interview with the new president of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC). Diplomat Osmar Chohfi took office Thursday (22) with plans to follow through with efforts to modernize the organization and increase trade between Brazil and the Arab countries.
During the inauguration ceremony, businessman Rubens Hannun capped up his four-year term as ABCC president with an overview of his challenges and achievements. Businessman Marcelo Sallum replaced Walid Yazigi as Policy Council chair.

Businessman Marcelo Sallum took office on Thursday, 22, as chairman of the Policy Council of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC). Sallum, who had presided over the ABCC from 2013 to 2016, took over from Walid Yazigi, who left the position he had held since 2009.
