This Friday (20) in your ANBA Bulletin: A Mercosur-Egypt free trade agreement meeting is scheduled for September, and the Brazilian private sector will request the acceleration of tariff reductions. According to the CNI, which speaks for the country's industrial sector, there is also an interest in reviewing origin regulations for vehicles and auto parts, among other claims.
This Thursday (19), a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and InvestSP. The two will work together to attract investment from Arab countries to the state of São Paulo.
Saudi Arabian authorities decided to suspend the rule determining the shelf life as only three months for frozen poultry meat that hampered Brazilian exports.

Arab Brazilian Chamber and InvestSP sign MOU

The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) and the state of São Paulo’s Agency of Promotion of Competitivity and Investments (InvestSP) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) this Thursday (19). They will work together to attract Arab investment to the state of São Paulo. The document was signed at InvestSP’s headquarters by the agency’s president, Gustavo Junqueira, and the president of the ABCC, Osmar Chohfi.

Saudi Arabia lifts poultry expiration policies

Mercosur-Egypt: Brazil to request more tariff reductions

The Brazilian private sector will request to anticipate tariff reductions in the free trade agreement between Mercosur and Egypt, in addition to demanding the inclusion of new products, revision of origin regulations for some sectors, and improvement of policies related to non-tariff barriers. Brazilian student enrolls new course at Zayed University

Brazilian Rhayssa Braz chose, among ten options for foreign universities, to study in Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates. She was accepted in the ZUXMinerva admission process, a project created in a partnership between the Zayed University in the UAE, and Minerva, an institution in the United States. Braz will enroll in the first class of the course, which has three fields of study and a program including studies at seven other universities worldwide.

Brazil wants to settle Mercosur-Lebanon agreement in 2022
