This Monday (30) in your ANBA Bulletin: Digital integration in Brazil-Jordan trade. Leaders of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and Jordan’s Customs Authority announced last week, in the Arab country, that digital customs clearance will come into effect in mid-September. At first, it will work for exports from Brazil to the Jordanian market; afterward, it will be implemented in the other way.
Lebanese entrepreneurs will present their products to Brazilian importers in an online show. The event will have four days of exhibitions on September 2, 16, 23, and 30. Over 35 Lebanese companies will showcase olive oils, wines, fertilizers, PVC materials, and other products. Register now!
Brazilian writer Wiana Kell, who lives in the United Arab Emirates, launched her second children’s book, “O Jardim da Lua” [The Garden of the Moon]. The work was written in Portuguese, and the author seeks to publish it in Arabic and English.

Lebanese products to be presented at online show

The Embassy of Lebanon to Brasília is organizing the first online show of Lebanese products on September 2, 16, 23, and 30, always at 10:00 am BRT (1:00 pm UTC). In the four dates, over 35 Lebanese companies will present their products to Brazilian importers and distributors.

From Dubai, Brazilian writes about gardens and the moon

Brazilian writer Wiana Kell (pictured above) lives in Dubai. In the emirate, she has a small garden in her condominium, buys flowers every week, goes to the desert to observe the moon, and experiences closely the lunar calendar followed by Muslims and the symbolism the moon has for them. There, she wrote the book “O Jardim da Lua” [The Garden of the Moon], a poetic prose narrative about gardens and the moon.

Brazilian exports to Jordan have electronic integration

Documentation of Brazilian exports to Jordan will be issued and verified electronically as of September 15 this year. The transition from physical to digital processing was officially announced in Amman, the Arab country’s capital city, this week by the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) and Jordan’s Customs Authority.

Modernization could facilitate foreign trade

The modernization of the procedures for issuing certificates of origin and trade agreements with Mercosur is one of the Brazilian Ministry of Economics goals. This is what Rafael Laurentino (pictured above) pointed out during the webinar ‘Rules of Origin: Mercosur – New Trade Agreements and the advancements of the CDO – Certificate of Digital Origin,’ which occurred this Thursday (26).
