Rio Art Museum exhibits photographs by Lebanese Dia Mrad
This Monday (8) in your ANBA Bulletin: The exhibition 'The Road to Reframe' is taking place from August 5 to 28 at the Rio Art Museum. The solo exhibition honors the victims of the explosion in the Port of Beirut two years ago and depicts a gaze at the decimated Lebanese capital.
Brazilian beef exports to Egypt advanced. The Arab country increased its purchases of the product by 144% in the first seven months of this year.

Egypt more than doubled Brazilian beef imports in the first seven months of this year. According to information released by the Brazilian Meat Packers Association (Abrafrigo), the Arab country was the third primary market for the product abroad this year.

Brazilian poultry protein exports totaled 2.828 million tonnes in the first seven months of 2022, according to a report by the Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (ABPA) released this Thursday (4). The volume was 6% higher than in the same period last year. In terms of revenue, exports reached USD 5.620 billion, 33.3% more.

Exports by Brazilian Company Grendene, one of the world’s largest footwear producers, increased 37.4% in the second quarter of this year, according to information released by the company. Grendene owns the footwear brands Melissa, Ipanema, Grendha, Rider, Zaxy, Cartago, Pega Forte, and Grendene Kids.

The solo exhibition of photographs ‘The Road to Reframe’ [‘Beirute: o Caminho dos Olhares’], by the Lebanese Dia Mrad, is on display from this Friday (5) at the Rio Art Museum (MAR) in Rio de Janeiro. For the first time in Brazil, the exhibition of Fine Art photographs is held by the Consulate General of Lebanon to Rio de Janeiro to honor the explosion victims at the Port of Beirut in 2020; a tragedy occurred two years ago. The exhibition has free admission and runs until August 28.
