This Monday (9) in your ANBA Bulletin: Brazil’s poultry exports climbed in July. The three leading destinations were China, Japan, and United Arab Emirates. The Arab country purchased a volume 76% higher. The Arab World Film Festival will start later this month and premiere seven features in Brazil. The movies can be watched online starting August 20. In addition to the screenings, the event will host online meetings with directors and special guests.

Seven films to premiere in Arab World Film Festival

This year’s Arab World Film Festival will take place online again. The movies will be screened on the Festival and SESC’s digital platforms, and the seven titles were never before released in Brazil. The event is free of charge, and the films display themes such as the political future and societies in transformation in a post-pandemic world. UAE’s poultry imports from Brazil up 76%

Poultry exports from Brazil climbed 16.4% in July from a year ago, Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA) reported on Thursday (5). The United Arab Emirates was the third leading destination and purchased a volume 75.7% higher.

Brazilian beef exports revenue up 9%

Brazilian beef exports revenue reached USD 5.096 billion from January to July, a 9% increase over the same period in 2020. In volume, the 1.07 million tonnes shipped represented a 3% drop in the same comparison. Data included fresh and processed meat and was released by the Brazilian Meat Packers Association (Abrafrigo) on Thursday (5).

Six restaurants to try at Expo 2020 Dubai

Expo 2020 Dubai, a world’s exhibition that will take place from October 2020 to March 2022 in the United Arab Emirates, will have famous international restaurants with acclaimed chefs. Saudi newspaper Arab News ran a list in its website with six of them as special suggestions for those attending the event. According to Arab News, Expo 2020 Dubai is slanted to be a gastronomic paradise.
