This Wednesday (11) in your ANBA Bulletin: Two companies that participated in the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce stand at Food Africa in Egypt have closed deals. The food trade show has taken place in Cairo over the last three days. Rauscher Commodities trading company received orders for coffee and black pepper, while Popcorn closed sesame and popcorn deals. “I believe Arab Chamber’s visibility is great. The space had a great turnout and brought credibility for us traders announcing Brazilian products,” the trading company’s exports manager Bruna Rausher told our reporter Bruna Garcia. “Egypt’s is a very populated country and has a great demand for food products,” Popcorn commercial manager Paula Gobbi added. The pavilion was organized in partnership with Brazil’s embassy in Cairo.
And Arab Chamber signed a memorandum of understanding with Brazilian Defense and Security Material Industries Association (Abimde) to reinforce the industry’s products promotion in the Arab market. The agreement was signed during a seminar on how to take advantage of the doors that have been opened by president Jair Bolsonaro’s trip to the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia in late October. “A memorandum will bring a larger exchange of information, a tandem plan for missions,” said Arab Chamber president Rubens Hannun.
