This Monday (16) in your ANBA Bulletin: the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce has a new Arab director, Saudi entrepreneur Obad Alzahrani (pictured, L), nominated by the Council of Saudi Chambers. He works at the food sector – especially restaurants – and imports beef and poultry from Brazil. Alzahrani is in the country seeking out business opportunities. “We want to open up new commercial horizons in the light of the acceleration of Brazil-Saudi relations,” he told journalist Isaura Daniel. The businessman visited the Arab Chamber headquarters in São Paulo, where he was welcomed by secretary-general Tamer Mansour (pictured, R). And congressman Eduardo Bolsonaro visited Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates. He presides over the Chamber of Deputies’ Foreign Relations Committee, and met with a series of authorities of those countries. His father, president Jair Bolsonaro, is expected to travel to Kuwait in January. And a report on the reopening of Arab perfume shop Al Zahra in São Paulo, which will now be called Al Ward. Owned by businesswoman Julia de Biase, the store offers now a wider range of products, including Amouage, a luxury perfume brand from Oman. The outlet is also designed to be an Arab culture space. It now features Arab décor and an Arabic café. |

São Paulo – Brazilian congressman Eduardo Bolsonaro visited Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates in the first fortnight of December. His father, president Jair Bolsonaro, is expected to travel to Kuwait in Kuwait January. Eduardo presides over the Chamber of Deputies’ Foreign Relations and National Defense Committee.
