This Monday (23) in your ANBA Bulletin: a report on the olive oil market in Brazil. Brazil imported more of this product in 2019 and some stores already offer Arab brands. An example is Casa Santa Luzia in São Paulo that sells Lebanese and Moroccan oils. Brazil still imports a small volume of the product from the Arab countries, but trade flow is climbing. Tunisia is the largest supplier among the Arabs.
Check also that more Arabic courses are available in São Paulo as more Syrians moved to the city. UNCHR public information advisor Miguel Pachioni says that not only the course availability is on the rise but so is the number of Brazilians interested in learning Arabic and more accepting of the Arab culture.
