Digital transformation expected to increase in the Middle East
This Monday (26) in your ANBA Bulletin: Investments in business digitalization in the Middle East and Africa could more than double by the year 2026, according to consulting firm International Data Corporation (IDC).
The IMF forecasts growth of 8% for Kuwait this year, mainly driven by oil prices and improved domestic demand.

The largest exhibition ever devoted to the oeuvre of Brazilian artist of Syrian Lebanese descent Judith Lauand is on display at the São Paulo Museum of Art (MASP) until April 2. Lauand was Brazil’s first concrete artist. Born on May 26, 1922, in Pontal, São Paulo, Judith is the daughter of a Lebanese father and a Syrian mother. They moved to Araraquara when she was 1 year old. Judith died on December 9 this year, after turning 100, a few days after the opening of her exhibition at MASP, called Judith Lauand: Concrete Deviation.

Average savings when using solar energy instead of grid power can reach up to 90%. The estimate is from the Brazilian Association of Photovoltaic Solar Energy (ABSOLAR). The sector, which has been increasingly growing in Brazil, already sits 3rd place in power generation, behind wind and electricity.

Kuwait’s economy is expected to grow over 8% this year, supported by increased oil output, higher oil prices, and sustained improvement in domestic demand. Kuwait is a strong oil supplier. The information was publicized in a report by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) this Thursday (22) after the organization’s mission to the country, which occurred from December 11 to 18 and was headed by economist Yasser Abdih.
