Brazil holds potential for tilapia exports
This Thursday (24) in your ANBA Bulletin: Tilapia exports are experiencing a turning point. Brazil is the world’s fourth largest producer of the fish and the country that holds the largest potential to increase volumes even further. Large animal protein companies invest in the sector, and since they’re already meat exporters, they could open doors for tilapia in the international market. Agritalks was held by ApexBrasil in Dubai with the support of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday (23). Brazilians presented agriculture projects related to sustainability and technology. And following a restriction on imports regarding letters of credit, the Central Bank of Egypt launched a new initiative to facilitate operations.
