Brazilian photographer Karine Garcêz will take Brazilians to photograph Lebanon and Egypt in July. She has already traveled to Arab countries snapping pictures of refugee children and now she has decided to organize a group trip. São Paulo – After visiting countries in the Middle East to register the daily life of refugee children, Brazilian photographer Karine Garcez has strengthened her link with the cause. After her first experiences in 2014-2015, when she was in Beirut, Lebanon, Gaziantep, Turkey, and Yarmouk, Syria, she has decided to organize tours with Brazilian groups.

Emmar acquires fashion e-commerce
São Paulo – Emaar Malls, the retail unit of Emaar Properties, from the United Arab Emirates, said that it has fully acquired the regional fashion e-commerce retailer Namshi, one of the largest of the segment in the region. The information was published in websites from the Gulf, including Arabian Business on Monday (25).

The women-only passenger car in Dubai
Dubai – In the women-only passenger car in Dubai’s metro system bound to the street market of the old city, Souk Deira, I was waiting for my destination with curiosity. In the emirate, the entire metro system has designated carriages which are only for women and children. The one-piece train had a single line in the floor separating the area reserved for women.

Imports of chemical products in Brazil grew by 13%
São Paulo – Brazilian market increased its imports of chemical products by 13% in January compared to the same month last year, according to information released by Associação Brasileira da Indústria Química (ABIQUIM). Overall, USD 3.6 billion were spent purchasing these products. Over December of last year, the growth was by 7.3%.
