Brazilian women showcase their books in Dubai
This Monday (7) in your ANBA Bulletin: Brazilian female authors have participated in Expo 2020 Dubai, a world exhibition taking place in the United Arab Emirates. Their books are showcased and sold at the store of the Brazil pavilion. On February 26 and 27, they’ll have a book signing. Egypt has floated a tender for the railway sector. The country has called upon sellers of machines, clamps, and motor cars. Interested parties can contact the Economic and Commercial Office of the Egyptian Embassy in São Paulo. Brazil-based construction coating firm Aton7 wants to break into the Arab countries. The manufacturer has exported to South America and India. And UAE’s architectural marvel Museum of the Future will open on February 22.

Egypt floats tender for railway products

 | The Egyptian National Railways, affiliated with the country’s Ministry of Transport, has floated public tenders for the railway sector. One calls for the supply of train spare parts like 50 rail drilling machines and 600 emergency fish plating (C) clamps. Technical envelopes will be opened on February 12.

Brazilian coating company seeks to export to Arab countries

The Brazilian construction coatings company Aton7 seeks to open to the Arab market. Founded 30 years ago by partner Francisco José Fava and CEO Rivadavio João Theisen, the industry has been exporting to South American countries for about eight years, and to India for about three, the Sales, Marketing, and Exports manager at Aton7, José Guerra, told ANBA.

Brazil cleared remote inspection of imported goods

Health regulator Anvisa has cleared the adoption of “physically remote inspections” of imported goods subject to health surveillance in ports, airports and borders. The Collegiate Board Resolution (RDC) that authorizes remote inspections was approved during the first ordinary meeting of the collegiate board in 2022.

Brazilian footwear: Registration open on B2B sales platform

Registration is open for Brazilian footwear brands interested in marketing their products to the international market through the digital B2B platform Joor. Brazilian Footwear, an export incentive program run by the Brazilian Footwear Industry Association (Abicalçados) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil), welcomes applications from interested parties.

Brazilian female authors showcase books at Expo 2020

The store in the Brazil Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai highlights female talents in literature. Since December, books written by Brazilian women, mainly expatriates living in the United Arab Emirates, can be purchased in the commercial space of the pavilion. On February 26 and 27, Saturday and Sunday, the authors will hold an autograph session for the public of the world expo.

Egypt raises fuel prices

Egypt’s Petroleum Products Automatic Pricing Committee decided on increasing the price of all three types of gasoline by EGP 0.25 (USD 0.015) and fixed diesel prices at EGP 6.75 per liter. The fuel price increase took effect starting Friday (4) and will last till March.
