Boali wants to open franchises in other countries
This Monday (16) in your ANBA Bulletin: Healthy food restaurant company Boali, with local presence in 17 Brazilian states, is planning on exporting franchises to Portugal, the United States and the United Arab Emirates in 2023. And Scottish Brazilian milliner Graciella Starling has participated in fashion shows in Lebanon and Saudi Arabia. She wants to internationalize her brand and sell its products in department stores in Dubai.

The headgear designed by Graciella Starling has already captured the attention of celebrities in Brazil and around the world. The brand was established twelve years ago, and Starling works on appointment at her studio on Avenida Brigadeiro Faria Lima in São Paulo.

Intending to globalize access to healthy food and transform habits, Rodrigo Barros (pictured above), alongside partners Fernando Bueno and Victor Giansante, founded Boali between late 2015 and early 2016. Barros, the company’s current CEO, told ANBA about international expansion plans to be deployed this year.

Brazil is expected to harvest 296.2 million tonnes of cereals, legumes and oilseeds in 2023, a record-high volume, government statistics agency IBGE said on Thursday (12). The estimate is 12.6% higher than 2022 harvest of 263.2 million tonnes.

The documentary Camel Race Secrets presents the tradition of camel racing, one of the heritage sports of the United Arab Emirates. The 12-minute film received narration and subtitles in Portuguese, English, and ten other languages, in addition to Arabic, and can be watched on the Youtube channel of the Emirates News Agency (WAM), which produced the documentary, linked at the bottom of this story.
