Last booths available for Brazilian companies at Gulfood
This Thursday (5) in your ANBA bulletin: The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce has the last booths available for Brazilian companies in Gulfood. The Arab Brazilian Chamber will have two areas at the largest food and beverage show in the Middle East. Registrations with the institution are still open.
Brazil’s new foreign minister, Mauro Vieira took office this week. The diplomat highlighted the work to be done to bring the country back to its leading role in the international community, and spoke about the resumption of relations with Latin America, the Caribbean, and Africa.
ApexBrasil returned to the Ministry of Development (MDIC). Vice President and minister of Development, Industry, Trade, and Services Geraldo Alckmin said he will work with Apex to reposition Brazil’s image worldwide.
Libya will host the 1st International Industrial Forum from February 25 to March 10, Brazilian companies can participate.

Ambassador Mauro Vieira took office as Minister of Foreign Affairs under president Lula’s third term. During the induction ceremony, at the Itamaraty Palace, in Brasília, Vieira spoke on the intense work to be done for the country to regain its leading role in the global community. He also spoke on the importance of resuming bilateral ties and relations with Latin American, Caribbean and African countries.

The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) will have two stands at the Middle East’s largest food and beverage trade show, Gulfood. This year’s edition takes place from February 20 to 24 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. There are only two booths available for Brazilian companies that want to participate in the event. To register, please contact the entity’s commercial department.

The Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) will return to be linked to the Ministry of Development, Industry, Commerce, and Services (MDIC). The department’s activities had been relocated to the Ministry of Economy during the previous government. The MDIC has now been recreated in one of the changes promoted by the government of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, who inaugurated his third term this week.

Libya is set to hold the country’s 1st Industrial Forum in the city of Misrata. The event intends to bring together the international industry community to address several points, give support and present solutions to problems faced by the industry. The forum takes place in parallel to the 2nd Libyan Industries Fair and the Misrata International Exhibition that take place from February 25 to March 10.
