Brazil’s poultry exports up 8.5% in 2023’s 1st half

Brazilian poultry exports (including all products, fresh and processed) totaled 2.629 million tonnes in the first half of 2023, surpassing international sales in the first six months of 2022 by 8.5% as reported this Friday (7) by the Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (ABPA).

Brazilian singer debuts music video filmed in Cairo

Brazilian singer Rhanna launched on Friday (7) the music video of her song ‘Anarruanda’ featuring footage filmed at the Khan El Khalili market in Cairo, Egypt. The place is a famous landmark in the city. The artist started her musical career in 2017 and has two original songs launched on audio platforms, ‘Anarruanda’ and ‘Receios.’ Both songs are sung in Portuguese and inspired by Arab sounds.

Brazil's international foreign arrivals more than doubles

Brazil welcomed 2.97 million international tourists year to date through May, marking a 108% in the first five months of the year. According to data from the Ministry of Tourism, May was a particularly busy month with over 292,300 people visiting the country, a 44.5% increase compared to May 2022.

Norwegian company invests USD 5 bn in Egypt

The Egyptian government, represented by the New & Renewable Energy Authority (NREA), affiliated with the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy (MOEE), signed an agreement with Norwegian company Scatec ASA to provide land for a wind farm project with capacity of 5 gigawatts a year, with an estimated investment of USD 5 billion.
