The ANBA Bulletin features a report on the agreement signed between the São Paulo Football Club and the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce this Monday (7) to promote the club in the Arab countries. São Paulo FC wants to be better known abroad and seeks this recognition in the Arab world. The club’s president, Julio Casares, is already planning activities for the 2022 World Cup to be held in Qatar, an Arab country.
A webinar was held at the signing event, in which former player Cafu and other guests spoke about changes in football around the world. Cafu shared news about the Qatar Cup; the CEO and founder of Empower Football Academy, Farida Salem, talked about creating a football school for women in Egypt. Check out more in the article below.

The São Paulo Football Club (SPFC) wants to become better known internationally and set the Arab countries as a primary focus of the strategy. On Monday (7), the club signed a memorandum of understanding with the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) to support its internationalization in the Arab market. The ABCC works for the rapprochement with the 22 Arab League countries.

Karim Aïnouz’s new film, Mariner of the Mountains, will be screened at the Cannes Film Festival Special Sessions as announced by the organizers of the event on Thursday (3) along with the official selection of films in competition and other screenings. The festival will take place from July 6 to 17. The Algerian-Brazilian director has already won the Un Certain Regard top prize at the Cannes Film Festival in 2019 for his feature The Invisible Life of Eurídice Gusmão.
